Following the countless interviews, mall tours and red carpet premieres for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones", Lily Collins has moved on to work on another film. By the looks of it, the separation from Jamie Campbell Bower is doing Collins well. In fact, for her latest film Lily allegedly enjoys being a mother for her film "Love Rosie."
Cassandra Clare's best-selling novel turned film is doing particularly good at the US box office. However, the numbers aren't enough to beat the record of "Twilight" and the "Hunger Games'" opening week. Yet, the film continues to be aired in numerous cinemas across the globe.
As for its' lead stars, Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West and Robert Sheehan are scheduled to head back to the studio anytime this month. The sequel to "City of Bones", "City of Ashes" is set to be filmed this September. Of course, this hasn't stopped Lily Collins from working on her other films.
Last Monday, Lily headed off to Ireland to film "Love Rosie" where she plays the mother to the adorable and equally talented Lily - Lily Laight. The two had kicked off pretty well for the film and had even been named "Lily Squared" by the production crew. Obviously, Collins is enjoying every bit of her role as a mom to Laight.
"I think actually playing a mum is my favourite memory," stated Collins, adding, "I was just in Dublin for two and a half months filming Love Rosie and I got to be a mum to this lovely young actress, Lily Laight."
Collins remains to be in contact with her film "daughter", Laight. Before the two had separated, Lily had given Laight a Claddagh necklace as a parting gift. For those who have yet to hear about "Love Rosie", the film had been adapted from Cecelia Aherns best-selling novel "Where Rainbows End" and is set to premiere next spring. The film stars Lily Collins, Lily Laight and Sam Claflin.
