Lily Collins has confessed she does feel pressure to please fans of The Mortal Instruments, when she stars in the film adaptation of the books.
The actress stars with Jamie Campbell Bower, Lena Headey and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in action adventure film The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones later this year, which is based on the first book of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.
Lily revealed: "We've already been green lit for a second one which is really exciting, so we're prepping for the sequel.
"I believe in the stories, I believe in Clary the character, I love that fantasy world, I love playing in it. And the thing I love the most about these books and what Harold [Zwart] our director has done is he's brought it to this realness that really grounds it and doesn't make it just a fantasy film.
"It's got many, many fans which is a blessing because you have a built-in audience. Of course there's extra expectations but at the end of the day they've been so supportive and positive so far, so I do feel very positive that it's going to be received well. I'm very proud of it."
The 24-year-old actress is currently filming new movie Love Rosie in Ireland with Sam Claflin.
She said: "I'm shooting that in Dublin right now, based on a book by Cecelia Ahern called Where Rainbows End. It says that it's a rom-com, but it's not, it has got romance, it has got comedy, but it really pulls at your heartstrings, and it's been really really fun.
"I age 10 years, I'm British, I have a child by the end of it. It's polar opposite to anything that I've done before. It's great!"
:: Lily is currently starring in Stuck In Love with Jennifer Connelly, Greg Kinnear and Logan Lerman, in cinemas now.
